Bakshaish Rug, Handmade Persian Wool Rug
Bakshaish is a city in the northwest part of Iran and east of the city of Tabriz and it is where this rug was produced. It is a handmade Persian Bakshaish made of vegetable dyne and fine quality local wool. The beautiful tribal floral center medallion is surrounded by flowers and vases on a beige background and rust border. Green, rust, blue and navy blue are some of the colors used in this rug. The rug measures 6.5×9.6.
